A supply curve is a graphical representation showing the relationship between the price of a product or a service and the quantity supplied within a given period of time. It has a direct or positive relationship between price and the quantity supplied. In this case, If the sugar price rises then as a result the supply curve for cereals will shift to the left, reflecting an increase in cost of production.
