Due to the fact that the Salivary glands are spherical
exocrine glands composing with branched ducts, they would be most likely
classified as major and minor salivary glands because they have a major
salivary glands which consists of the following; submandibular, sublingual and
parotid glands and the minor is consist of glands that are small
mucus-secreting.
