If you have got 6 demerit points in a 12 month period than you should stop driving to prevent getting anymore demerit points.
If you get 6 or more demerit points within a 12- month period than you will receive a warning letter from the DMV.
These points will only disappear 3 years after the date of the offence and once they are recorded ,there is no other way to remove them.
