can anyone please explain how the answer of this question is:

y=-2

Answer:

9x-5y=2======>9x-5y=2===>(+)7y=-28=>y=-4=>(1)3x-4(-4)=10=>x+16=20=>x=4

3x-4y=10(1)=>(×-3)-9x+12y=-30=>(+)
