a trinomial of degree 3 includes 3 terms and 3 as the highest degree. A possible trinomial with GCF of 6x is:

6x³+12x²-6x

which can be further factored as:

6x . x² + 6x . 2x - 6x . 1

6x( x² + 2x - 1)
