x²-6x+a

(x-?)(x-¿)

(x+(-n))(x+(-b))

x²+(-n+-b)x+nb

-n+-b=-6

n+b=6

b=6-n

3n+2b=20

3n+2(6-n)=20

3n+12-2n=20

n=8

b=6-n

b=6-8=-2

x²-6x+a

(x+2)(x-8)

x²-6x-16

a=-16
