The muckrakers’ work was important for all society in that time , this includes the lacking working conditions , the poor way how do they people lived, and unscrupulous business practices. Prominent muckrakers included novelist Upton Sinclair, photographer Jacob Riis, and journalists Ida M. Tarbell and Lincoln Steffens.
