Volume of a cone: 1/3[tex] \pi [/tex]r²h

Plug in 3 for r and 120 for the volume.

1/3[tex] \pi [/tex]3²h = 120

Multiply both sides by 3.

[tex] \pi [/tex]3²h = 360

Divide both sides by pi.

3²h = 114.59

Divide both sides by 3² (9).

h = 12.73, or 13 (rounded to nearest cm)

The height of the cone is 13 cm.
