Che Guevara advanced human rights and/or national self-determination by supporting anti-colonial movements throughout Latin America and the rest of the world. Che was strongly opposed to imperialism, colonialism and neocolonialism. In his speeches Che strongly advocated self-determination for the peoples of Latin America, Africa and Asia.
